Today we are reviewing a very cool looking keyboard from ASUS. This is the new ROG STRIX FLARE keyboard, a full mechanical gaming keyboard with German-made Cherry MX RGB switches for faster response times and enhanced gaming experience. The RGB lighting effect is extended from keys to the sides of the keyboard with addressable RGB light bar on both sides creating side glow onto your gaming desk creating great gaming environment. Keyboard also comes with customizable RGB badge to give it a personal touch.

DETACHABLE WRIST REST

ROG Armoury II Software Package can be downloaded from ASUS website. The software gives complete control to set different RGB backlit profiles, to apply Macro settings, assigning keys for launch of programs and more.

Cons
Conclusion
Playing games on the ROG STRIX FLARE keyboard was a very comfortable experience. I personally use a Corsair K70 LUX keyboard and often use the media keys during game play. Every time I must move my hand away from the mouse to adjust volume makes me feel disconnected from game as have to readjust the in-game pointer. But in ROG STRIX FLARE keyboard these media keys are shifted to left hand side so now I can easily move my fingers away from direction keys to adjust volume without losing my in-game target.
Beside that I like the side RGB lighting the ROG STRIX FLARE mechanical gaming keyboard offers along with the customizable illuminated badge, giving ability to add personal touch to the hardware.
At a price of approx. Rs.9200 + taxes the ROG STRIX FLARE mechanical gaming keyboard is a nicely designed keyboard keeping gamer in mind, giving a great gaming experience and worthy of our PC TeK REVIEWS CHOICE Award.
