Conclusion

With AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor, AMD finally made 3DV-Cache technology on Zen 4 available to gamers and enthusiasts. And we found in our testing that Ryzen 9 7950X3D is a clean winner by looking at the gaming performance when compared to the Ryzen 9 7950X CPU which is a without 3DV-Cache CPU.

AMD 3DV-Cache technology makes 7950X3D one of the best gaming CPU, but this technology results in hard voltage limits on the CCXs, mean the one CCX can?t run as fast as the other and results a slight hit in productivity benchmarks compared to the Ryzen 9 7950X CPU. This limited-voltage also limits the overclocking capabilities of 7950X3D processor. But with AMD?s Ryzen Master utility you can manually tweak 7950X3D processor to get little more performance out of it.

Finally, AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D processor is a great option for those who need performance in both gaming and productivity tasks right now, making it worthy of our PC TeK Reviews EXCELLENCE Award.
