CORSAIR is known for producing innovative PC component products and today we are reviewing a new AIO(all-in-one) liquid cooling solution from CORSAIR, the CORSAIR iCUE H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Liquid CPU Cooler. CORSAIR H170i ELITE CAPELLIX is a massive 420mm radiator high performance liquid CPU cooler with three CORSAIR ML140 RGB PWM fans, and a CAPELLIX RGB pump head, delivering big cooling performance with very low noise.

Now let's see with 420mm radiator and RGB lighting what more the CORSAIR is offering with this AIO.

By including CORSAIR ML140 PRO RGB PWM fans with the AIO, Corsair unrivaled performance and low noise operation. One of the best fans which utilizing magnetic levitation bearing technology and comes with vibrant RGB lighting controlled in CORSAIR iCUE software.

Bundled Software

Cooler supports CORSAIR iCUE 4 software which can be downloaded from Corsair’ website.

CORSAIR iCUE software connects all your CORSAIR iCUE compatible products together in a single interface, giving you complete control over your entire setup.

For testing thermal capability we manually overclocked Intel i9-9900K upto 5GHz and stressed the CPU using AIDA64 for 10 minutes. To average out we took three readings with 15 minutes of system idle time in between every reading. We compared CORSAIR H170i ELITE CAPELLIX CPU cooler (CORSAIR iCUE software profile set to 'Balanced') with few of known AIOs, Air coolers and a custom LC solution.

Conclusion

In our testing the CORSAIR H170i ELITE CAPELLIX 420mm Liquid CPU Cooler performed very good with stand-out performance and very low noise, with great fans chose from Corsair for this cooler, the 140mm ML PRO Series RGB PWM fans.

Only thing with the CORSAIR H170i ELITE CAPELLIX Cooler is its size, with 420mm radiator size, you may encounter some case-cooler compatibility issue. In our review we are using Corsair 7000D case and H170i Cooler just fits perfect.

Finally, the CORSAIR H170i ELITE CAPELLIX 420mm Liquid CPU Cooler is one the best AIO cooling solution with quiet operations and great thermal performance offered by Corsair and makes it worthy of our PC TeK Reviews Choice Award for AIOs, if your case supports 420mm radiator.
