Closer Looks

Testing

For testing this AIO we tried to simulate practical use case scenario.

Using AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU manually overclocked at 3.8GHz, in two different cabinet sizes with best airflow possible for that particular case and against a 360mm AIO cooler.

Test system configuration -

CPU AMD RYGEN 9 3950X @ 3.8GHz
RAM2 X 8GB DDR4 3600Mhz
SSDMSI SPATIUM M390 nvme
GFX MSI RX 6600 XT
CoolerMSI K360 AIO Liquid Cooling
Case Corsair 5000T

Case CM MasterBox NR200

For testing thermal capability we ran stress test on AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU manually overclocked at 3.8GHz, using AIDA64 for 10 minutes. And made an animated ‘gif’ of the test runtime, trying to show how different coolers are reacting with change in CPU load. Ambient temperature was recorder about 28C and system were kept running ideal for about 15 minutes between each run.

Pros

  • Two 120mm DeepCool FK120 PWM fans
  • ARGB Infinity lighting on CPU block
  • 240mm Slim radiator
  • Easy Installation
  • Nice Cooling performance
  • Thermal paste pre applied

Cons

  • No separate ARGB Controller. If board don’t support ARGB than NO Infinity lighting

Conclusion

Instead of giving a comparison chart, this time we tried to show how cooler is actually reacting in real world scenario. And in our testing the DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler performed good and provided decent thermals with manually overclocked AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU up to 3.8GHz.

DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm AIO is fully compatible with any case supporting 240mm AIO cooler. Included two 120mm DeepCool FK120 PWM fans with ARGB Infinity lighting make whole package very attractive.

Only one thing that bugged me a lot is that the DEEPCOOL LT520 CPU Cooler don’t comes with any ARGB controller and relay on to Motherboard or Case ARGB connection. So, one should have an empty ARGB connector or controller beforehand to get the full benefit of infinity-lighting effect.

Finally, the DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler is nice designed with ARGB Infinity lighting and offers good thermal performance, makes it worthy of PC TeK REVIEWS Choice award for 240mm AIO CPU cooler
