DeepCool LT520 Liquid CPU Cooler Review
Today we are reviewing an AIO (All-in-One) liquid CPU cooling solution from DEEPCOOL, the DEEPCOOL LT520 high-performance 240mm liquid CPU cooler.
DEEPCOOL LT520 comes equipped with a 240mm radiator, two precision-tuned FK120 fans, and a multidimensional infinity pump/ CPU block mirror top cap.
Now let’s see with 240mm radiator and Infinity ARGB lighting what more the DEEPCOOL LT520 Liquid cooler have for us.
BREAK OPEN ANOTHER DIMENSION
A three-dimensional infinity mirror surface is revealed underneath the top cover that offers a new visual experience through a multi-faceted geometric reflection..

DEEPCOOL LT520 CPU cooler comes in a securely packaged box with product image, Model name and features highlights on front and the back of the box.
Inside the box
Box contains hard molded cardboard cutout holding DEEPCOOL LT520 Liquid CPU Cooler securely along with Mounting kit for most modern CPU sockets, Two 120mm high performance fans, radiator mounting screws, Thermal compound (pre-applied) and Quick Start Guide.
For testing this AIO we tried to simulate practical use case scenario.
Using AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU manually overclocked at 3.8GHz, in two different cabinet sizes with best airflow possible for that particular case and against a 360mm AIO cooler.
Test system configuration -
|CPU|| AMD RYGEN 9 3950X @ 3.8GHz|
|RAM||2 X 8GB DDR4 3600Mhz|
|SSD||MSI SPATIUM M390 nvme|
|GFX|| MSI RX 6600 XT |
|Cooler||MSI K360 AIO Liquid Cooling |
|Case|| Corsair 5000T |
|Cooler||DEEPCOOL LT520 AIO |
|Case|| CM MasterBox NR200 |
For testing thermal capability we ran stress test on AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU manually overclocked at 3.8GHz, using AIDA64 for 10 minutes. And made an animated ‘gif’ of the test runtime, trying to show how different coolers are reacting with change in CPU load. Ambient temperature was recorder about 28C and system were kept running ideal for about 15 minutes between each run.
MSI K360 360mm AIO (Set Silent Fan profile in BIOS)
DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm AIO (Set Silent Fan profile in BIOS)
DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm AIO (Set 100% Fan profile in BIOS)
- Two 120mm DeepCool FK120 PWM fans
- ARGB Infinity lighting on CPU block
- 240mm Slim radiator
- Easy Installation
- Nice Cooling performance
- Thermal paste pre applied
- No separate ARGB Controller. If board don’t support ARGB than NO Infinity lighting
Instead of giving a comparison chart, this time we tried to show how cooler is actually reacting in real world scenario. And in our testing the DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler performed good and provided decent thermals with manually overclocked AMD RYGEN 9 3950X CPU up to 3.8GHz.
DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm AIO is fully compatible with any case supporting 240mm AIO cooler. Included two 120mm DeepCool FK120 PWM fans with ARGB Infinity lighting make whole package very attractive.
Only one thing that bugged me a lot is that the DEEPCOOL LT520 CPU Cooler don’t comes with any ARGB controller and relay on to Motherboard or Case ARGB connection. So, one should have an empty ARGB connector or controller beforehand to get the full benefit of infinity-lighting effect.
Finally, the DEEPCOOL LT520 240mm Liquid CPU Cooler is nice designed with ARGB Infinity lighting and offers good thermal performance, makes it worthy of PC TeK REVIEWS Choice award for 240mm AIO CPU cooler
