MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R CPU Cooler Review
Today we got the opportunity to review an aftermarket CPU cooling solutions from MSI, a latest AIO liquid cooler the MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R CPU cooler from MAG CORELIQUID Series. The newly introduced MAG CORELIQUID Series has everything you're looking for in a liquid cooler, ranging from quality materials that provide reliable durability to heat dissipation technologies that are extremely effective. Users can even enjoy perks like ARGB lighting and a 270-degree rotating blockhead that is simple to use. On top of that, the blockhead boasts a unique irregular aesthetic that is both stylish and artistic. Every single component of the MAG CORELIQUID Series is designed with the end goal in mind: to provide effective cooling without any compromise.
Now let's see what this MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R AIO has for us.
Mount the cold plate at any orientation, turn the blockhead up to 270 degrees, and keep it upright.
RADIATOR PUMP DESIGN
The pump has been integrated into the radiator for sound dampening and noise reduction. Additionally, placing the pump into the radiator also increases the pump's life expectancy by moving it away from the heat source.
PUMP MOTOR RESONANCE ELIMINATION
A durable three phase motor at the core of the pump generates minimal vibrations for long-lasting operation.
HIGH THERMAL DISSIPATION
A split pathway through the radiator rapidly dissipates heat, cooled liquid is then pumped back into the loop.
EVAPORATION PROOF TUBING
Constructed with three layers of netted plastic tubing and a reinforced mesh exterior.
MORE SILENCE THAN EXPECTED
MAG CORELIQUID 240R's noise level is significantly lower than that of competitor's by 10%.
Robust yet built for flexibility, MAG CORELIQUID Series has been designed with a secure installation bundle with compatibility on a number of Intel and AMD motherboards.
MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R AIO comes in a securely packaged box with product image, Model name and features highlights on front and the back of the box.
Inside the box
Box contains securely cardboard packed MSI MAG Coreliquid 240R AIO along with two ARGB PWM 120mm fans, smart fan controller, fan mounting screws, installation guide, warranty information paper and all the necessary hardware for Intel and AMD CPU mounting.
AIO comes with exact 274 x 120 x 27mm radiator with standard 4 X 120mm fan mounting holes (2 on each side). Unique part of this AIO is that the pump is located in between the radiator fins.
Test system configuration -

Whether you are a gamer or general PC user, the high fan noise of stock coolers of your processor is always annoying when you are heavy gaming or doing heaving processing work on your PC. A good AIO liquid cooler can solve your PC's noise and improve CPU thermals. The MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R AIO offers decent performance with good ARGB implementation. Best part is the PUMP inside the radiator fins, which helps in producing zero vibration. I cannot feel the pump running even by touching the radiator. Fans were giving very low noise with ears very close to the case.
Finally at a price tag of Rs.9k(approx.), the MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R AIO offers very low noise and decent performance value at the price, satisfying almost all noise and thermal needs of higher end gaming pc build and worthy of our PC TeK Reviews Choice Award.
