Doing a custom liquid cooling for PC is a dream of every PC builder but in India getting custom liquid cooling parts is very difficult and expensive job. As these parts are mostly not available on shelf of local computer stores and getting one from abroad always results in waiting for weeks and burning a hole in ones wallet. So only option for most here is to go with AIOs.

Test system configuration -

Installation of MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 kit inside a modded Cooler Master MASTERCASE 5 case was very easy and results in a great looking build.

For testing thermal capability we manually overclocked Intel Core i7 7820X CPU upto 4GHz and stressed the CPU using AIDA64 for 10 minutes. To average out we took three readings with 15 minutes of system idle time in between every reading. We compared MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 kit with few of known AIOs, Air coolers and a custom LC solution.

Conclusion

Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 is a custom CPU liquid cooling kit, a superior piece of precise engineering giving great thermal performance with very low pump noise and vibrations. To be frank the pump in this kit is one of the top silent pumps I have ever seen with a nice coolant flow.

When comparing the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 kit with all the other LGA 2011 type CPU cooling options I have, the MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 not only outperformed all the AIOs and Air coolers, but came very close to a custom 360mm radiator LC solution from Thermaltake.

Kit is very easy to install but I also found few things to taken in care for while installing this kit. First provided tubing length is good for experienced personal, but first timer may cut the tube in wrong way or improper length and result in a total failure. Instead of just 1.2m of tube, kit should have at least 1.5m long tube. Second a pre-mixed coolant of required quantity would be great with an option to choose a color. Provided Pink colour doesn't go well with most case build colour themes.

Finally at a price tag of Rs. 26k (approx.), the Cooler Master MASTERLIQUID MAKER 240 custom CPU liquid cooling kit seems little expensive, but considering the superb build quality and great performance, this kit completely justify the price giving pc builders and enthusiast a great option to move into a custom liquid cooling segment and worthy of our PC TeK Reviews Excellence Award.
