Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz Review
As PC technology is evolving, with latest increase in CPUs core counts and performance from both Intel and AMD, the DDR memory speeds and capacities are also increasing accordingly. All latest PC platforms runs DDR4 memory stock speed of somewhat close to 2144MHz and with overclocking these modules can reach higher memory speeds. Now a day's almost all higher end memory modules comes with in-build overclocking settings i.e. XMP profiles reaching effective speeds of over 4200MHz without going into all the overclocking hassle and manual tweaking of memory settings.
Today we are reviewing one such high speed memory module kit from Corsair. Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz C18 Memory Kit - Black (CMK16GX4M2B3600C18) with Corsair Vengeance Airflow, a memory cooling solution.

Memory kit comes in a good card-box packing with product image on front and mentioning of kit's size and speed. Back of box have an overview about the product.
Inside the box
Along with the memory module the box also includes Vengeance Airflow cooling unit with mounting accessory and a fan speed reduction cable.
The fan speed reduction cable is used to lower the single 60mm ball bearing fan of Vengeance Airflow cooling unit. Without this speed reduction cable the 60mm fan runs at 3500RPM max. with up to 14.5 CFM of airflow resulting slight fan noise.
Looks
Unique and low profile design of the Vengeance LPX pure aluminum heat spreader optimally pulls heat away from the memory chips and the kit included the AIRFLOW cooling solution provides great headroom for overclocking. Available in multiple colors heat spreaders and fan shroud, the Vengeance LPX kits goes very well with any color theme build.
Aluminum heat spreader makes module low profile with 31mm of height, works well with large size CPU air cooling solutions.
RAM modules have a curve or difference in the height (approx 1mm) of the connection pads and PCB. Module is having extra height in the middle when compared with the both ends. This curve results in lowering the pressure on the modules while inserting them into the DIMM slots giving a smooth and easy RAM installation. Great job Corsair.

Benchmarks
For all testing, we have manually overclocked our i7-6700K up to 4.2GHz and compared at stock speed and at 3600MHz with XMP profile enable.

Conclusion
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3600MHz kit delivered excellent overall performance with easy XMP profile for 3600MHz. This kit is properly tuned for Intel 100 series of chipset and performed flawlessly at full 3600MHz speeds. Enabling XMP profile was very easy on my ASUS Maximus VIII Formula motherboard via AI Suite. All newer ASUS Z370 motherboards come with XMP profile enabled by default. So with newer boards this kit will run 3600Mhz out of the box.
At the conclusion, we found that the Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600MHz kit was rock stable at 3600Mhz and with a lifetime warranty this kit is recommended for all gaming and high performance pc build, worthy of our PC TeK Reviews Choice Award.
