Cooler Master MASTERBOX MB500 Case Review
Recently PC cabinet market is flourished with Mid-tower cases with tempered glass and RGB lighting; all brands are trying to give best for the money experience to the users. Cooler Master is one such brand which announced a bunch of new cases at CES2018. MASTERBOX product line was added with few good looking cases for budget builds.
Today we are reviewing an interesting looking case from MASTERBOX product line, the Cooler Master MASTERBOX MB500 Case. A mid tower case with a Semi-meshed front panel and lot of air ventilation supporting up to 3x 120mm or 2x 140mm fans at the front, 2x 120mm fans at the top, and 1x 120mm fan at the rear, showing nice air flow capability of the case.
Case also comes with one tempered glass side panel and pre installed RGB fans 2x 120mm fans at the front and 1x 120mm fan at the rear. There is also included a RGB controller if you want to control RGB lighting separately, as these RGB fans support all major motherboard's RGB utilities.

FAN AND RADIATOR SUPPORT The front supports up to three 120mm- or two 140mm fans and up to a 360mm radiator, with a maximum thickness of 50mm without fans. The Rear supports a 120mm fan or radiator, and the top up two 120mm fans. It comes with two pre-installed 120mm RGB fans in the front and a single 120mm RGB fan in the rear. All to ensure you don't have to compromise on performance.
MAIN COMPONENTS CLEARANCE The MB500 case supports CPU-Coolers up to a height of 160mm, Graphic Cards up to a length of 400mm, and Power Supplies up to a length of 180mm.

Standard plain brown packaging with product image and few paragraph describing features outside.
Inside, two styro foam cutouts suspends the case. Box also includes guide, accessories and a RGB controller with 1-3 RGB splitter cable.

Top air vents with a magnetic filter
Side of case have full tempered glass panel secured with two thumb screws and glass have a metal rig to support during removing or re-installing the glass panel.
Case comes with 3 RGB fan pre installed
PSU have a separate removable filter. This is clip-in flexible type filter which is difficult to re-install with case fully loaded. A magnetic or slide-on type filter would be a great option.
Case have lot of cable tie points for better cable management.
Front plastic cover can be easily removed for cleaning.

Cooler Master is one brand which takes community feedback very seriously and the same can be seen clearly in their new MASTERBOX product line. The Cooler Master MASTERBOX MB500 Case with two chamber design and a semi-mesh front panel resulted in our testing an aggressive designed case with excellent air flow and thermal performance. Adding the tempered glass and RGB fans with controller makes this case a very good choice for games and enthusiasts.
